Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30, 1993) is a popular American rapper. The stage name he uses is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. His Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash single "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott has released his second album with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of 2019 on Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first rapper to be ranked the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
