Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career as a child shortly after moving to the United States. Her fame was boosted by her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the television pilot that has not yet aired New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two she emigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out after her sophomore year, she was able to get a GED and went to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
